Vanaf eind deze maand beginnen we met de opnames voor ons nieuwe videowerk New Age Track, hoogstwaarschijnlijk bij Openmakers in Leiden. In de studio maken we verschillende sets, props, projecties, collages, animaties, handmade special effects en kostuums, die alle korte scenes zullen vullen die we ooit hebben hadden willen maken. We houden je op de hoogte van de ontwikkelingen en de locatie van vertoning.

Hierbij sluiten wij onze residentieperiode in het Scheltema Complex af. De displays en podia's die tijdens het eerdere georganiseerde Display Matinee dienden voor verschillende presentaties en optredens gooiden we letterlijk door elkaar. Documentatie van het Matinee en de overblijfselen tonen we in de vorm van verschillende prints op de Finissage

Tijdens onze residentieperiode in het Scheltema, bouwen we aan verschillende displays en podia die samen een ruimtevullende installatie vormen.
Speciaal voor deze zondag vroegen wij anderen de podia op wat voor manier dan ook in te vullen en zo deel te worden van de installatie

Voor ruim een maand zitten we in het Scheltema Complex in Leiden. Daar zullen we bouwen aan een aantal verschillende settings voor zeer uiteenlopende presentaties. We gaan op zoek naar anderen (kunstenaars) die deze potentiële podia op wat voor manier dan ook willen invullen tijdens het Display Matinee en zo deel worden van het werk.
Aan het einde van onze werkperiode presenteren we documentatiemateriaal van de gebruikte displays.
Work in progress te zien van 08/11 t/m 18/12 in het Scheltema en bovendien te volgen op dit blog

We made an installation of pastel coloured, shiny cloth, inspired on the curtains you see in busses in Thailand. The final work consists of a big, dramatic black and white print. By contacting us you can order the print in any size, but the bigger the better

Work in a space

We made some crappy, white bases where our artwave was standing on. Around the gallery space we build a National Gallery-like wall, so that there's created a space in between the real wall and the fake one. In this corridor we organised a party a few days before the opening. At the opening we closed the corridor. Underneath and over the wall you could see the party leftovers.

We build an installation in Rotterdam: a big box with serveral 'vieuwbox elements' inside, like a sun, a cloud and a marshmellow sea, all inspired by the pastelpaintings of Signac. (Jahjah!) Prints of these elements are collected in the 'Vieuwbox construction set', of which people can make their own vieuwbox and figure out what our previous made installation would have looked like.
